How does EduBoston differ from other agencies?

We make sure that your school will receive the necessary support to build and maintain sustainable a International Student Program.

When you partner with EduBoston, a Program Manager, who lives locally, will be assigned to work closely with you to develop your program and ensure that your needs are being met as well as facilitate in the resolution of any issues that may arise.

Does EduBoston offer local support staff?

Absolutely! Your school will receive unparalleled, local 6-Layered Support. A Program Manager will be assigned to your school and is your first point of contact. He or she is the primary liaison between your school and EduBoston.

Does EduBoston hold any industry certifications?

Yes. EduBoston has been certified by the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET) since 2015. In order to become certified, an organization must consistently meet the strict standards set forth by CSIET. Not only does EduBoston meet these standards, but we exceed them to provide the best possible experiences for our students.

What will be the school’s responsibility with regards to Host Families?

EduBoston’s CSIET-certified residential program means that every incoming International Student will be matched with a qualified host family that has been screened, approved, and fully-trained by us to provide a safe and nurturing home. The Host Families will provide a spare bedroom, bed, desk, chair, internet access, transportation to and from school, and meals.

While we are responsible for finding and managing Host Families for our students, we do encourage our Partner Schools to promote our recruiting efforts by sharing information within the school community about hosting opportunities. Members of your school community often make for the best Host Families!

What are your students’ English proficiency levels?

EduBoston carefully screens every student to ensure that their English language skills are at an appropriate level that will allow them to thrive academically. We will work closely with your Admissions Team to determine which students are the best fit for your school.

What type of English language support do you offer your students?

Depending on the needs of the International Students at your school, EduBoston has the capability to hire and place ESL instructors in your International Student Program. Many of our Partner Schools have relied on us to design, coordinate, and implement an ESL program.

What age students do you work with?

EduBoston’s International Students typically enter the 9th and 10th grades. Depending on the space available for each International Student Program, we may also recruit students for 7th, 8th, 10th, and 12th grades. Older International Students may enroll in our College Program.

What length of time do your International Students stay enrolled?

EduBoston recruits degree-seeking International Students that hold an F-1 visa. Our International Students intend to take advantage of their time in the United States and typically stay for 3 to 5 years.
